Pinnacle Sewing Service provides every kind of sewing and alteration service.  Work is done professionally and quickly.  You will receive an estimate on the work when you bring it in.  I don't like surprises on my bills, and I know my customers don't like them either.  We do most any kind of repair or alterations work.  Here are FAQ for our sewing and alterations department:

Do you hem pants?

That is the number one question I hear from my new customers.  Yes!  I hem jeans, pants, and dress pants.  And I do it economically.  I hem pants for customers in Darby, Hamilton and the Bitterroot Valley.  And I hem pants for customers all over the United States.  I love seeing the  look of joy on my customer's face when they say - I finally found someone who hems pants!

• Simple:  $5 per pair.  You qualify for this rate if I can simply cut off the old hem and sew in the new hem.
• Intermediate:  $10.00 per pair.   if I need to rip out the existing hem to put in the new hem.
• Advanced:  $10 - $25 per pair:  This includes hand hemming, lined pants, cuffed pants, or any pants that require special treatment.

I also hem dresses, skirts, formal gowns, bridal gowns and sleeves!

Do you replace zippers?

 Of course I do that, too!  I replace zippers in all kinds of items and clothing.  Coats, skirts, dresses, pants, cushions, sleeping bags, purses.  Zipper repairs cost can vary quite a bit.  I charge $25 plus the cost of a zipper.  An average cost for a simple skirt zipper replacement would be $15 - 20.  A coat would be $25 - $30.  Great customer hint to save money:Want to save money on zipper repair?  The part that takes the longest is removing the old broken zipper.  Remove the old zipper before sending me the repair.  You'll cut the repair bill in half!

Sewing for Men

Here's an interesting factoid about Pinnacle Sewing Service.  Over 60% of my customers are men.  You might think it is because of the stereotype that "men don't sew".  But that is not it!  My male customers come in for many creative reasons.  They need custom covers for their toys.  They have a piece of canvas, webbing and leather and need a custom piece made.  They need clothing customized so that it better suits their favorite hobby. Leatherwork

Pinnacle Sewing Service owns an industrial sewing machine.  I can sew leather, webbing, cordura and heavy duty canvas.  There is a limit to the weight of the leather.  I cannot sew saddle weight leather or boot leather. 

Sewing and Alterations Pricing

• I charge $25 for sewing and alterations.  After 45 years sewing experience I provide efficient and expert repairs.
• I accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Paypal.
• Supplies - I charge for zippers, elastic, buttons or fabric used.  I do not charge for thread or other small miscellaneous items.
• If I need to special order something that costs over $25, I will ask for a 50%  payment upfront, then a 50% payment when I am finished.
• Payment is expected when you pick up your item.
• No refunds for ordered fabric or supplies.
• Items not picked up in 30 days will be disposed of.
