Simple Meandering
Simple Meandering in a free flowing overall design of curves. Consider choosing simple meandering for your quilt to:
- Maintain the least expensive budget option.
- Use on a a quilt that is going to have heavy duty use and washings ( a child's quilt, for example
- Use on a quilt with fabrics that have a lot of scrappy color and
design, where a more complex machine quilting design will not show
through
- Use on charity quilts
Simple Meandering is the most economic of designs. I charge $0.018 per
square inch. It is easy to calculate exactly how much your quilting
will cost. Simply measure the finished length and width of your quilt.
Say your quilt measures 60 inches wide and 72 inches long.
- Multiple the length by the width. In our quilt example you would multiply 60 x 72 = 4320.
- Multiple that sum by 0.018. The example would be 4320 x 0.018 =
$77.76. That would be the price of quilting your quilt! Iit is that
simple and it is that economic!
